Rotas that fill themselves. Licences that never lapse.

Manned guarding, door supervision, keyholding, events: the Hub was first built for a security company, and it shows. Site requirements, SIA licences, screening, inductions and client preferences all feed the rota, and guards run their week from their phones.

What usually goes wrong

Rotas by email, changed three times

The rota goes out, someone drops out, it goes out again. Guards work from the wrong version. The Hub publishes once; changes reach the right phone instantly.

The licence spreadsheet

Right until it isn't. A guard on site with a lapsed licence is a contract-ending problem. The Hub warns three months out and won't roster a lapsed guard.

Sunday night cover

An evening of phone calls to find someone qualified, inducted and free. The Hub lists exactly those people, with a message ready to send.

A day with the Hub

07:30

Office opens the overview: one drop-out tonight, two licences inside a month, Saturday's event fully staffed.

07:35

Tonight's shift opened; three qualified guards listed; a WhatsApp sent to the first; he says yes; he's on the shift.

11:00

Next week's rota created from regular shifts, auto-filled, checked by site, published. Guards' phones update.

16:00

A guard uploads a new badge photo. The office checks it, marks it verified. Licence countdown resets.

Questions from security companies

Does it understand SIA licence sectors?

Yes. Security Guarding, Door Supervision, CCTV, Close Protection, Cash and Valuables in Transit and Key Holding are built in, and a site can require any of them.

Can clients approve or bar specific guards?

Yes. Each site records who the client has approved and who they've asked not to have back. The rota respects it.

Can it handle a jewellers whose hours change at short notice?

Mark the site as flexible. The shift is created from its usual pattern and the office changes the times on the day. The guard's phone shows the new time.

Can guards scan in and out on site?

Yes. A code at each site is scanned on arrival and departure from the guard's phone, giving you and the client a record of who was where and when.
